Google Images Redesigned

[tweetmeme source=HtNaMuS only_single=false]

Recently Google with its new search interface made easy to search for specific kind of images for example images with particular size ,color and type like clipsart, drawing etc .But it is also going to rollout some more features to its search interface to make its users more comfortable.

Here’s what’s new in the refreshed design of Google Images:

  • Dense tiled layout designed to make it easy to look at lots of images at once so that we can experience a rich list of images and browse from the group for what we are looking for.

  • Instant scrolling between pages, without letting you get lost in the images. You can now get up to 1,000 images, all in one scrolling page. And we’ll show small, unobtrusive page numbers so you don’t lose track of where you are.

  • Larger thumbnail previews on the results page, designed for modern browsers and high-res screens.

  • A hover pane that appears when you mouse over a given thumbnail image, giving you a larger preview, more info about the image and other image-specific features such as “Similar images.”

  • Once you click on an image, you’re taken to a new landing page that displays a large image in context, with the website it’s hosted on visible right behind it. Click anywhere outside the image, and you’re right in the original page where you can learn more about the source and context.

  • Optimized keyboard navigation for faster scrolling through many pages, taking advantage of standard web keyboard shortcuts such as Page Up / Page Down. It’s all about getting you to the info you need quickly, so you can get on with actually building that treehouse or buying those flowers.

Login To Multiple Google Accounts in Same Browser

[tweetmeme source=HtNaMuS only_single=false]
[digg=http://digg.com/tech_news/Login_To_Multiple_Google_Accounts_in_Same_Browser]

This the coming new feature in near future provided by Google to its users to sign in into different accounts at the same time that to in the same browser.As mentioned in Google Operating System (a unofficial blog on Google) Google is testing this feature and may release in near future.The post says " Multiple sign-in only works for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Reader,
Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Code, but it's likely that other
Google services will be added when this feature will be publicly

available.

If you use a service that doesn't support multiple sign-in, it will
default to the first account that you signed in using your browser.
Google suggests to use a different browser, but you can also use chrome's incognito mode to sign in to an additional Google account.
Another
limitation is that Gmail's offline mode is disabled if you turn on
multiple sign-in."

Tech Addicts Be Careful

[tweetmeme source=HtNaMuS only_single=false]

[digg=http://digg.com/tech_news/Tech_Addicts_Be_Careful_TeknoBuzz]

Recently i have seen a article thought sharing with you so am writing this.The article says that not these days people are not only getting addicted to drinking and smoking but also getting addicted to using tech gadgets.That may due to the necessity of those gadgets as a part of their project works or due to any other works many are spending 24 hours in front of gadgets.

The research people of University of Maryland made a survey on about 200 students. They had taken all the gadgets which the students use from mobile phone to ipod,ipad etc.After some time they had found that those students are not able to do any of the works completely and
they cant even do their daily routines well.So they suggest that we must be careful while using gadgets and should spend lot of time
infront of those gadgets.I feel it is correct many of us are becoming tech addicts.for example take my case i will be infront of my laptop
from morning to the time till i sleep and i have seen many of my friends who are also in same situation.what do you feel is it good
addicting to gadgets ??

Partition Your Harddrive in Windows

[tweetmeme source=HtNaMuS only_single=false]
[digg=http://digg.com/microsoft/Partition_Your_Harddrive_in_Windows_TeknoBuzz]

First we start by talking about what is the need for doing partition for a hard disk.With out saying the advantages of having different partitions in your hard disk i will say the disadvantages of having only one partition.Every one saves a lot of important stuff and will also be very careful while surfing internet but in these days it is very easy to get attacked by a virus.So if there is no chance of preventing it, we keep the important stuff away from viruses.i mean if we partition hard disk in such a way that the OS files are kept in a different partition from the important files which we want to store.A virus can be removed if it doesn't attack our OS files some how by deleting the file it attacks or by scanning it using online antivirus softwares or by any wares offline but removing a virus which attacks our system files cannot be removed because we cant delete our system files if we do so it becomes the situation of cutting the branch on which we are sitting so we cant do that.So i recommend you to partition your hard drive so that if virus attacks your system or any other thing happens to your OS your directly format your OS which is in a specific partition by getting no effect to any of your data.I think its enough and i might have bored you.Here is the way to format your harddrive in windows.

While partitioning you may increase your partition size or decrease it.First i will tell you how to decrease i.e. shrink the volume and then i about extending it.

Step 1:

Right click on the My computer icon and click on Manage option and wait until a window opens showing you disk management option in the sidepane it will look like this.Click on the disk management option .
