Tutorial To Create Email Signature With Images and Links in Gmail

Email Signature is a block of text appended at the bottom of an email message which contains the sender’s information like name,contact details,etc..Gmail has a feature of adding this signature automatically to every email once you enable that option,but in that feature we cant add a link or an image.Suppose you are a blogger and want others to know about blog then if you append your blog link in the end of the every email you send it will let your get good traffic and in many cases this email signature with links and images will help you.And here goes the tutorial .

Step 1: Login into your Gmail account and go to your Settings tab which will be on the top of the page.

Step 2: Now you should open Labs tab and should enable the Canned Responses and Inserting Images labs features.(Some times it will be difficult to find the lab features then you have to press Ctrl+F in your keyboard and type the names in the dialogue box which appears and you will surely find it.

Step 3: Now compose a new mail and create your signature in the format you want and be creative while doing so.You have the option to upload images(enabled by Inserting lab feature).

Step 4: To add an image in to your signature you have to click on the image icon which is in the menu just above the space you have to type your message .

Step 5: You can select your image from the local hard disk or from the web.select the image and add it to your message.

Step 6: Now to create a link to the image so that when ever a person clicks on it ,it will open a webpage specified by you.To do this first select the image and click on the link icon in the same menu mentioned above.                                         Signature2

Step 7: Enter the Url which you want your recipients should get clicking the image.If you want to have many Urls to be linked use images as small as possible ,and generally to understand quickly which site the Url points it will be better if we use the favicon of the website.

Step 8: After preparing your Signature don’t forget to save it in the Canned responses menu which will be on the top of the above menu.

Step 9: Now you have an awesome signature with you and you can add it in your every email by clicking on the canned response menu and adding the signature.
